Commendation from Legislator Bridget Fleming
Legislator Fleming represents the 2nd District of New York, which covers many areas of Long Island. She sent DENA a letter of commendation from her office, and then set up a meeting with some members of our student leadership team! It was a pleasure to speak with Legislator Fleming and her team.
Commendation From the Public Advocate for the City of New York, Jumaane D. Williams
Mr. Williams represents New York City as its Public Advocate. He sent Ariel a letter of commendation for her work in NYC, writing that “her ingenuity, initiative and spirit of service are as admirable as they are appreciated.” Thank you, Mr. Williams — we are so thankful for your recognition!
Commendation from the Mayor of New Haven, Justin Elicker
Mayor Justin Elicker represents the city of New Haven, CT. He commended Ariel for her work with DENA, and specifically mentioned her distribution of diaper supplies to IRIS (Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services). Thank you so much to IRIS and to Mayor Elicker!
